NFTs to the Rescue of Photographers!

Queens born Photographer Amos creates NFT to encourage artists to be properly credited

Amos’s hit photo of the late rapper XXXTentacion, released in 2018 to the rapper’s Instagram page, received over 24 million likes. However, Amos never received credit for the photo.

In a bid to raise awareness about properly crediting artists for their work, the photo is being auctioned as an NFT with a starting price of $100,000.

“…we’re creating a system to give artists more opportunities. The end goal would be for photographers to be able to handle their business and to not be afraid of the threat of copyright or credit. NFTs solve this issue…” states Amos.

A portion of the profits will go to non-profit #HalfTheStory.

Seeking the credit you’ve never received for your photography? Focus Market is an NFT platform dedicated to help photographers monetise their passion and make a great passive income.
